"Since when did anyone say 100%?"
Every single vaccine maker, when they came on the scene, claimed very high rates of efficacy but also "100%" protection from dying, even J&J.
I didn't believe them and that is why I posted my msg.
We are only at the beginning of finding out the true rate of protection supposedly conferred by these vaccines. Let's see how it goes.
But the more interesting fact to me was that none of those who were supposedly "breakthrough" cases were infected with the variants that are threatening to be even more deadly.
The best case use of Leronlimab would, of course, be to give it to anyone who has Covid-19 symptoms immediately. That is the best procedure for stopping illness progression, hospitalization and resulting costs, damage to the economy and, of course, deaths.
Let's see what Leronlimab's rate of efficacy is! Closer to 100% I bet, no matter what the variant! Perhaps it couldn't overcome some comorbidities and, also, age.
Better yet, give it to anyone infected with anything! Who couldn't use an immunity boost?
