Honestly while some traders join in when things are moving
Honestly while some traders join in when things are moving its the market makers controlling the price action both ways the majority of the time on this stock ... They get referred to as the shorts but also play a role in the move up .... They constantly swing the stock back n forth and there is no telling how much they are raking in ..... The stock is perfect for it .... Otc but with volume and constant catalyst
It must be nice. ... I mean they are trading a stock in which they basically have a birds eye view of the orders .. They can see exactly what's coming in and going out ... And the best we get is a level 2 where 100 can mean 100k ... And they have the pockets and the shares to apply the brakes at will ....
So its the bottom of a move ... Price action has stalled ... Consolidation .... Market makers drift the price .. Teetering on the edge of a dollar ... Or whatever the case ... Scaring some weak hands ... Accumulating cheap shares ... .. While holding the price down ... Waiting for a change in the wind .... Some traction ... A change in sentiment ...
Brakes are lifted .... Price begins its ascent ... Only price is propped up .. They can afford this ... There going to unload them at the top. ... The top of there choosing .. But in a way that doesn't yell red flag except for those paying attention ... Unloading the shares with the highest cost basis first .... A guess but makes sense
Then the stall .... They hold price action in check .. Its not moving down .. But its not really moving up yet neither ..... After all have to dump those shares with higher cost basis .... While stalling the price action as its easier to manipulate on lower volume ... Ppl are starting catch on and start to exit ... Its primed .. The same way they accumulated at the bottom they begin or continue there short positions .... Remember those cheap shares they bought ..... Time to cash some of those in and .. Sell off
.. Which is what ohm was commenting on earlier... They intentionally dumped a bunch of shares and still made money on them
Price drop .. Ppl selling ... Stop loses ... And those dips .. Ppl are buying but any upward momentum is halted
Rinse repeat ...
Big money ... With keys to them kingdom lining there pockets at the expense of retail investors ... Its robbery at the least .... A fixed match ... Maybe not for alot on this board as you will someday cash out in profits having not played the game ... But for many ppl they take a hit.. Its not cool ... Needs reform ...and. Level 2 should be transparent .. Legit
And why things may not play out exactly as described above or in every situation ... Its not far off ....
We are talking big money ... Billion dollar companies .. Like citadel that use the stock market as there personal atm at the expense of us...
And i would not be surprised to see the sec step in or create some new laws after reddit users finally had enough and beat them at there own game for once .... Laws to protect those hedge funds .... Its all bout money and they are all in it together if you ask me.
I mean where was the sec when news came out that gamestop was over 100 percent short .... The only way that's possible is if they were manufacturing shares..... Where is that fine at ..... But instead robbing the hood ... Halts trading to allow hedges to cope with getting caught with there pants down at the cost of billions .... Not surprising considering the relationship they have with citadel ....... At what point its it legal or right for them to call a time out .... I mean I've never got a time out on a loosing trade or position .... Its a dirty game
This wasn't directed at any one .... End rant
