after a glass of wine and thinking about it, i'm not as concerned about the Dr. Rahman departure. this company is an absolute pressure cooker at the point. NP has a reputation for working around the clock 7 days a week - and the pace is absolutely manic. probably nothing like the gigs that Rahman had with a number of BP companies.
so it may be that it was nothing "bad" on either side - just a job that demands a much more all-out and aggressive approach at this point. and NP is on a mission to get this drug out there - and probably is pushing very hard (perhaps rightfully so).
Just my thoughts.
