I'm really surprised by today's news. It's not difficult for anyone who's familiar with both Filipino and Brazilian culture / politics / state of scientific inquiry to see which is more.. probable to make progress over the same timeframe. But I really thought Canada would be the first mover for LLMab. And while I'll wait for the studies to actually start to "get excited," this just suggested Brazil is a serious contender for that #1 spot. They arguably need it more than anyone else, and deserve anything to lessen the damage their particularly nasty variants are causing.. enrollment in these studies will absolutely not be a problem. And I'm extremely curious to see LLMab pitted against P.1..
