News for 'ENTR' - (Entropic Communications Named Market Share Leader in Home Networking Applications Specific Standard Products by The Linley Group)

SAN DIEGO, Jun 21, 2012 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX) -- Entropic Communications,
Inc. (Nasdaq:ENTR), a world leader in semiconductor solutions for the connected
home, today announced it ranked number one in worldwide revenue of home
networking application specific standard products (ASSPs), according to a report
titled "Communications Semiconductor Market Share 2011" released by The Linley
Group in June 2012.

Providing a comprehensive, global analysis of the industry's communications
semiconductor markets, The Linley Group's report highlighted Entropic as one of
few semiconductor companies to grow in 2011. Further, the report noted Entropic
as the market share leader in the home networking integrated circuit (IC) space,
leading with 38 percent market share. Entropic's home networking silicon and
software solutions are based on the Multimedia over Coax Alliance (MoCA(R))
standard, which uses existing coaxial cable in the home to create a robust,
