Things could get very interesting when the LH treatments stop. At that point you need someone like Patterson to determine if components of the immune system return to a "normal" range.
I have no idea what mechanisms would tend to bring an immune system back to homeostasis. How does an immune system, challenged for an entire lifetime, get reset to optimal condition? This pandemic will teach us so much.
I suspect the immune system won't go back to "normal" for most people but it will get better than it was. Then it will be a matter of tweaking the components to get a person feeling like their old selves.
The connecting of specific immune components with specific symptoms like Patterson is figuring out is really cool. Before you even do the high tech tests you can estimate what components are off. Very cool. Then you can treat!
