Polymedix did perform antiviral screening test. A published representation of the work is shown on page 29 of the IPIX April 2020 Brilacidin review.

The graph is from a Polymedix presentation which I have lost the link.
The other question is who decided to begin the Brilacidin antiCovid testing and who assisted IPIX securing the RBL studies.
My guess is deGrado had a hand in both decisions, but I think Leo made the decision to move forward with the Covid testing.
