Also should be mentioned -- there are plenty of people who have high levels of amyloid in their brains, as determined by autopsy, but NEVER had any problems with dementia. I continue to believe that amyloid is a symptom, not a cause.

I am appalled by this guy's suggestion that maybe adding anti-inflammatories to the anti-amyloid drugs might work. This means that even MORE research dollars may be diverted to continue studying these useless drugs, while those dollars are NOT used to study other mechanisms that may be causing the disease.
