First thing he does is to transform the company in the MOST impactful way....
What are his motivations...WHO is he in league/aligned with ...shareholders or management..or BIG Pharma connections he's made in his past career.
HE/SHE wants to show effectiveness...WE owe a supplier 50 Million or so for product..NO revenue.
I am new ...so being the new CEO I will be deluged with OFFERS..mostly because of their market concerns/patents about to discontinue etc...etc.
They'll make it attractive to me personally because ultimately I'll pull the trigger. Likely stay on as a controlled unit. I'm thinking DILUTION to the MAX..in a quest to uplift to big board... looking for Institutional $$$$ to kickstart the whole shebang...I get Rich..and the shareholders get ..............F#(KED.....NEVER to realize the future value of the company.....Put your CAP back on... and think some more before you start blowing everybody out of the boardroom....consider the replacements.....BETTER the DEVIL you KNOW.
