They are all selling today. Some for a profit, some for a small loss but, all are selling since I was wrong and they know nothing about Doc and his history.
I can't blame them since they are only invested on my word but, I still feel ridiculous for telling them about UNVC in the first place and will (in the future) no longer be sharing any of my opinions about stocks with ANY friends/family.
Unfortunately, that's the big problem with telling friends and family to invest in any OTC stock. If you're wrong, or if the timing for success is a little bit off, you're either an idiot or the bad guy. I experienced that previously when I told friends and family about another OTC stock that crashed and they lost money. I felt bad about it.
Here is what I learned from that experience.: One possible solution:
Obviously if you are suggesting that someone buy this stock they are depending entirely on you and they know absolutely nothing about our DD with Doc and UNVC, -and that is a problem.
What I did this time around is I transferred $1k and $5k of my own money to the broker accounts of three relatives and bought UNVC shares for them. I told them not to touch anything until I gave them the OK. I also said that if UNVC turns out to be a big winner, if they want to they can give my original investment money back to me at some point. But if the stock fails, they lose nothing.
Of course this strategy doesn't work for everyone.
