One question I still have regarding the trial:
IPIX/FDA knew that the treatment regimen for Rems... and Fav.... was for 5 days of dosing long before our trial started.
So why wasn't the trial set up FROM THE START for 5 days of Brilacidin dosing?
As it is, some have surmised that the trial is being held up so as to get the OK to increase dosing of B to 5 days so there are apples to apples testing data, and this could have been resolved easiest and most quickly if the trial had just been designed w/ 5 days of B testing from the starting gate.
This bugs me as every day longer it takes to get EUA is another day some patients are most likely dying needlessly.
