On the first page of the Southern Building Code there is a note that says the inspector has the final word regarding interpretation of the code.
I learned quickly you don’t argue with an inspector. I always had a courtesy walk before I ever called for my first inspection. It worked out well for me, and in recent years getting a Certificate of Occupancy involved other departments, such as Water, Sewer, Planning, etc. They counted the number of Pin Oaks or Crape Myrtles. They counted parking spaces. You name it, it was reviewed.
In the report Dr.Baer mentions they voluntarily stopped working in the spirit of cooperation, which on the surface sounds good. But to put in a report you’re puzzled by the suspension ain’t gonna make you any friends in Tallahassee whether it’s allowed to stay in the report or not.
It’s been nearly 8 years since you claimed SFRX was the bridge between the state and HTQ and a new era was dawning as SFRX would become the Microsoft/Apple of the industry.
Do you think they have become the Microsoft/Apple of the industry?
Why or why not?
