On one of my other stocks, there was focused conjecture on Stocktwits that was positively affecting the price. The company stepped in and immediately squashed the rumors in order to avoid any SEC issues.
It would be a respectable thing for the CEO to squash any April 1 expectations well in advance to avoid massive stock swings, instead of posting cryptic tweets that provide no material value to shareholders,
Or on the flip side, release something to set expectations.
