Good article Toodles. Mistrust and hesitancy is what I have when it comes to the vaccine and I am not considered a minority by today's standards by anyone. In fact, most social organizations professing to help minorities consider someone like myself to be the oppressor. They say this even though I have never oppressed anyone, and never even seen a person of color until I was in my mid-twenties, and living on the East Coast. My grandparents came to this country as indentured servants --- that is a slave for those who do not have a whole lot of education. I knew many Native Americans who I considered to be my friends, and they did not consider me to be an oppressor at all (strange right). The Native Americans who I did know considered me a friend and openly said so. Perhaps today, during the WOKE generation, they might think differently. But who knows.
