Ok, so I said ignorant at best even though ignorance is never an excuse. Illogical bad advice is worse. If one can protect themselves from the thing out there that has killed and is still capable of killing many people then they should, regardless of if something new will come along. If I can get 95% protection right now from A B and C I’m not going to not because I’m hung up on D, or even worse it’s “not the one I wanted”. I hope for the general public to do all they can out of respect for one another to protect each other. You are going to try to justify publicly saying the only vaccine worth getting is Moderna? Doubling down by pivoting to say all vaccines aren’t perfect? Yes, we know, given that’s obvious. We do the best we can with what we have. What we have is way better than nothing. Commentary like that hinders the greater good by exacerbating people’s fear and uncertainty. Every comment matters.
