Local news from metropolitan areas suggests that keeping up with demand for vaccine is a challenge. Lauding the efforts & praising the successes.
This may be true in the city, but in the rural area I live in, it's far from it. A wait for the 1 shot J&J at kroger. A wait for mom & pop pharmacies who do not have steady supply. Local health department has MANY unfilled openings. Brother had 5 min wait for shot after 3day wait after scheduling & said there were few people there.
I have spoken to many who may not choose to get the vaccine under
present circumstances.(Round here)
If you wish to be vaccinated - sign up, regardless. Many are opting out. In my state you can drive 2 hrs to another county if there is an opening & vaccine is available.
Related to CYDY- It seems that the previously suggested number of folks who would choose not to be vaccinated(30%) is way too low.
I hopei am wrong, but this sets up nicely for another wave, with all the relaxing of restrictions. Just saying that I don't see the need for covid therepeudics going away anytime soon. Best yet- LL.
