With a lot of technology, there is always two guys in a garage hecking together something cool, but will the platform support millions or users? Can they provide the customer service to support millions of users?

Talkshoplive is a good example of the next level beyond a garage and I am sure there are others.

"Talkshoplive is a startup that’s worked with stars like Paul McCartney and Garth Brooks, as well as small businesses, to host shopping-focused live videos. Today, it’s announcing that it has raised $3 million in seed funding from Spero Ventures."

Then you have fairly mature private companies that have been around for a long time like Wirewax that has 40,000+ users . I assume they have a great interactive tool and make great videos but there is a catch...

Know what it is? I posted about them before. Here's a hint...

https://www.wirewax.com/pricing/

It's $12K annually for small businesses or $1,099.00 per month if one doesn't have 12 large sitting around to pay upfront

This is the company that also sells $500K videos. Nice gig if you can get customers

There are also some public video companies like BCOV that I posted before that has more than doubled this last year although I don't think they even complete with Verb with shoppable interactive videos as their solution is lacking but they have almost a $1B market cap. They do other stuff too and have good revenue. Check out their interactive videos yourself

But wait, there is more

I've saved the best for last, but I am sure they are others with different flavors

Bambuser is a video streaming company in Sweden.

"Bambuser is a name you may not have heard in a while, but the Stockholm-headquartered company is announcing today that it has raised $45 million in new funding this year, with $34.5 million of that amount raised during the pandemic."

Here's where it gets complicated...

There pricing starts at $39/mo but I have no clue if they converted that already to US since they can see I am viewing from the US.

Probably doesn't matter anyway because this is for the SDK

What's a SDK?

It's a software developers toolkit so you can build the streaming video stuff into your app. Yeah, more cost, work and time.

https://bambuser.com/live-streaming-sdk-pricing

But it says right on this page...

https://bambuser.com/live-streaming-sdk

"Note: This is not built for Live Video Shopping."

Which is why I said it probably doesn't matter

So what's the cost for the Live Video Shopping product?

You know what they say...

If you have to ask, you probably can't afford it

Pricing
"We tailor each package and service based on your company’s individual needs and targets. Let us know if you’re interested — we can’t wait to hear from you!"

I bet you can't wait!

And there is more...

Someone can check the currency conversion and let me know if I am way off.

IF I am not, Verb is freaking way undervalued

But maybe I missed a decimal point somewhere

If anyone goes through the math/conversion, let the board know what you come out with

"Net sales showed strong growth, reaching SEK 31.1 million"

31M Swedish Krona = $364,0572????

4.9B market cap = $575,445,280???
