If I were King of Cytodyne... I would tell the FDA " Hey look we think we have proven to ouselves and the medical community that LL is safe and potentially effective against COVID 19. We understand that you feel you need more data, we are a small company, we missed our PE, we have no partners.etc etc.
And although we would love to support another trial we are done paying for it. We should be focused on our primary goal which is HIV, NASH, cancer and so on but felt compelled to step in and help to try to alleviate a worldwide pandemic. We have spent millions on this diversion and have no approvals to show for it.
So if you guys or the NIH or one of your BP partners wants to fund some more testing let us know, otherwise we are going to complete this long hauler study and move on. If you don't want to fund anymore trials then here is an EUA application for use of LL in critical care situations showing statistically significant reduction in length of hospital stay/
