When a reservoir reactivates the virus replicates and the cell dies. If you can reactivate all the reservoirs while all CCR5 is blockaded by leronlimab the virus dies out. Even without 100% reactivation or coverage HIV replication may be slowed enough that the boosted immune response with leronlimab may be enough to eradicate HIV.
I have mentioned use of re-activators to to Dr. Patterson and he says he thinks the same thing.
