here i am once again utterly confused with the CD12 results (as i was with CD10). My very simple (and maybe not so smart) question is this: does our drug work very effectively on people who are sick with COVID? or does it maybe just have some mild benefit - that allows some folks to leave the hospital sooner, but not others?
it's clear to me at this point that it's not a silver bullet for COVID or we would've had a better result in the trial. but perhaps with a more carefully set-up trial, we may still get approval and generate revenue on COVID?
many argue that we should get approval, because other drugs that work less well have gotten approval. I agree with that. But it also seems that the lesser known company, person, athlete, whatever, has a higher hurdle to hit than the well known quantity. That seems to be where we are. And while i applaud NP's grit, he's clearly not going to win the connections or political points.
guess i'll just sit back, be patient, and wait for my alarm clock to go off again tomorrow to "I got you babe".....
