I'm talking strictly about the US response to Covid, from "no masks necessary" to "it'll be gone by April" to policies in nursing homes etc... The origins of SARS-Cov-2 are fairly obvious, but the response in the US can only be reconciled by an active desire for "thinning the herd." Never let a good crisis go to waste.
