You are correct that these firms do charge high fees but many people are not in the mind set of becoming a millionaire. Or handling money like a millionaire.
I also agree with the post about doing research where these firms are going to stick your money because not all firms have good plans.
Low-fee Vanguard Index funds. I currently have one and it has done me well.
One book that I am reading now is "Rich Dad Poor Dad" by Robert Kiyosaki. Only getting into it but already had some GREAT points.
