my reaction to the below is GET A BP PARTNER NOW TODAY BY 4 PM
Greetings fellow CYDY investors,
And I do mean investors in the real sense. Those looking to day trade or for a quick buck need not read on.
I have been long this company for over a year, 38k shares. I have followed it more intensely than any other investment in my lifetime, reading every PR, news article, following this board as well as YMB, Seeking Alpha, and listening to every webcast in its entirety.
Originally I was drawn to CYDY by the science as I suspect most of you were. I believe LL heralds a new era in medicine, mainly the dawn of precision medicine and a transition away from an antiviral/ailment-focused branch of therapy towards immunoregulation. The drug is obviously incredibly safe, efficacy in HIV, Covid, and of course enormous potential in NASH, various cancers, and other auto-immune deficiencies.
What this company has accomplished in just the past year is truly commendable. I must tip my hat to Dr. NP and management for their tireless efforts in getting us to this point.
To be clear, I have tremendous respect for Dr. NP. He is unconventional, polarizing, and infuriating at times. What he has been able to accomplish with CYDY ever since he took it off the proverbial scrap heap is nothing short of remarkable.
However, I think in order for us to "hit the big leagues" we require one major change. In my opinion, it is in the best interests of CYDY and having this drug come to market expeditiously (and therefore maximizing its benefit to humanity) that Dr. NP step down from his role as CEO, to be replaced by a more experienced set of hands with a proven track record in getting drugs approved and to market.
Obviously, shareholders with a long-term vision can see a path to riches. I would ask all of you to try and set aside your confirmation bias (prevalant in some of the popular posters on these boards - no names needed you know who they are), and ask yourself the following questions:
- Do you really believe NP is capable of leading CYDY through Covid, HIV, NASH, and cancer approvals and commercialization? Do you really believe he's the best person suited for the job in terms of his experience, temperament, and track record?
- Based on his demeanour and past comments, are you totally comfortable with him as the public face of CYDY moving forward? In negotiations with regulators, potential BP partner/buyout suitors, institutional investors, etc.?
- Do you think his "triple digit" comments the other day in a news article, when he full well knew the results and full well that approvals were NOT immenent, were appropriate (at best)?
- Have you noticed that virtually every time he speaks on a webcast, the share price falls?
- Are you not concerned with the shifting explanations and timelines for the HIV BLA filing?
- Do you think all of the above has damaged the credibility of CYDY and its leadership to this point?
- Finally, honestly ask yourself, do you not think the investor base and SP would not react positively if Dr. NP were to step down?
I wish nothing but success for this company and its shareholders. Dr. NP has done very well to bring us up through the farm system, I think it's time for a new coach so we can make it in the big leagues.
