I think DR Rahman summed it up perfectley when he said that at the beginning of the trial no one really understood the disease progression, outcomes or even a current standard of care. They did the best they could and made what they thought was the right decision at the time.
So hindsight being better than forsight it could have been a better designed trial, we coud have selected the patients so that their age was more evenly distributed, we maybe should have taken that 75% look....
Well all that is moot now and delling on the past will not predict the future.
