I see your point, the FDA pimp slapped us several times. They are doing their best to use our drugs efficacy against us. It is like being stuck in the mud where you can go forward a little, and reverse a little, but the more you do it the deeper you dig the hole and they more costly it can be to get pulled out (more toxic loans and share dilution to the point a BP snatches us up cheap)
I disagree that this is the end for us with covid, I think it is time to focus our efforts on the longhaulers. We have months of data from people in our trials and from people receiving LL pre and post cd-12 trials as to their current conditions, don't we? Those that survived, how many are now considered long haulers? Would a third shot or a fourth shot decrease the number even more? We need to take whatever info we can gather and laser focus on long haulers. Let BP go after severe and critical, that is who the FDA is buying time for anyway with the nonsense BS they are pulling on us.
Maybe we should tell the Fda to kiss our ass on critical, stop wasting time and resources, and focus on longhaulers only. We need to make sure we have good endpoints for that trial and learned every lesson we can from our most recent trials (cd-10 and 12).
Once we get approval for longhaulers can't doctors start using it for severe/critical?
Pfizer sold their vaccine at a premium to Israel and included the results on the Israelis in their studies. what if we sold LL at a discount to Brazil or Phillipines and used the results from the critical patients they save as more proof that it works??? Won't the world be watching??? Wont the Fda look dumb as shit at that point???
Why play the FDA's game? Fck those A******* They are just buying time for BP buddies to come up with some half ass drug that they claim is wonderful. First to market means a lot, so we need to be more creative and use alternate channels. Doesnt the new 2 trillion covid relief bill create billions more $$$ in free money for BP, only this time instead of vaccines it is for therapeutics???
We do have options for covid, it just is not the conventional route afforded to BP. I say flip the script on the FDA and go full steam ahead at longhaulers.
In the meantime find a country that is not afraid of bullying from the US as a repercussion if they purchase LL before the FDA approves it in the US, and let's help the sick in their country... Hell, the way things are going in the U.S. I might just move to whatever country that is. At least they proved they care about their citizens health
