My last post of the night (you're welcome). I be
Post# of 148275
Today was a tough day. We all lost 3, 4, 5, 6 or maybe even 7 figures today. Pretty much sucks. I told my wife that I "won" the IH trial trial guessing contest. She said, "what did you win?" I said, we lost $90,000. She said, "don't enter any more contests."
It isn't just the money, it is the further delays. Like you, I think that LL can help and should get EUA. But, I don't see that happening for at least 5 months (O, Canada!!!, can you help??? O, Philippines, how 'bout you??)
This is the point of my post......I would love to see this group pull a bit back towards the middle and be realistic. If we put our predictions on a bell curve (see post 79624), the actual result would have likely been "off the chart" or in the farthest small tail. We, as a group, were so far off, it is embarrassing.
We are supposed to know something about Leronlimab, and, in fact, this group knows more than just about anyone. But we have to have some realistic evaluation and perspective. It isn't helpful if we all just blow smoke at each other (rainbows and unicorns).
Why is it important to be a realist and to speak the truth to each other and to other investors? So we can hold management accountable.
The next time we are asked to vote on BOD members, or management compensation or options, let's hold people accountable. We (as a group) screwed up in a big way last September when we approved the executive options.
This executive team has had to return excessive grants (TWICE). That is amazing. The board, including the CEO and the Chairman (not to mention the CFO) have cashed out a large portion of their holdings. Wake up! We can root for success, but don't vote them more shares/options.
Last point......sometime in the next five months.....you might be asked to vote on a buy-out. Vote with your head, not your hopes. (You, we, and me have already proven that we don't really have any flipping idea how a trial is going to turn out.) If you love the drug, then invest in the buyer.
I'm a little embarrassed to be preaching and don't really have any right. But, come on folks, just be realistic about what has happened here.
