I am not out to piss people off. I am an optimist and I choose to find the good things out of what may be viewed as not so good. I look to the future to see if we were derailed and need to abandon ship. I don’t see that we have those worries. I see this trial as educational and we all learned something and as much as we all wanted better results. We didn’t get better results.
We didn’t fail every end point and lies by Adam F should put him in jail. But it doesn’t. That is something that needs to change. But will it ever? Who knows.
As for me being to optimistic all the time... I have been invested since August 2019 and I thought we would have a BLA filed the next month. Then 6 months later it was filed only to not be accepted. I have had set back after set back but I am still here. I am here because of the science and this set back will not drown us. We will get to where we need to be. It will take a little time as I have come accustomed to. But this time it is very much different. We absolutely know we can achieve a EUA going foreword and we have never had that while waiting. We thought we knew each time or hoped we did but our primary endpoint now is something we have already achieved. That is a huge deal to me. We will get the next one. Why? Because we have a Primary endpoint that we have already attained. That’s a guarantee I have never had before. That is great news!
