TechGuru: you postulate 67% critical mortality in LL arm (which I accept); whereas LL critical mortality in spring 2020 Einds was apparently below 20%. This is a huge disconnect. But in spring "20, I don't believe steroids were widely being given to critical patients. If true, that would strongly support ohm's premise that the presence of an immunosuppressant (steroids) might very well reduce the efficacy on an immunomodulator. Unfortunately, however, treating physicians are likely to continue this contraindication approach in the upcoming trial.
