What I would have done differently doesn't matter, as I do not claim to be an expert in this field. Sure, when the hitter strikes out, I could brilliantly claim "Well that was useless, I'd have hit a game winning double!" but it means nothing because that is not my job. Maybe that hitter was trying to hit that game winning hit, but he's the weakest hitter on the team and was easily overmatched by the opposing pitcher.
MAYBE more skilled management would have known that they needed a certain number of people per age group and/or severity of disease so we wouldn't be having to do this all over again with another group.
