Fear of economic sanctions for stepping on the FDA's toes will keep the UK and Canada from straying, but the Philippines or Brazil may go rogue. It was encouraging to hear the P.I. mentioned again after a three-month silence. Seeing Brazil on the list was a pleasant surprise even if their new cases and death rates are raging out of control.
I don't get why an EUA would not be forthcoming if the results are as great as NP says. Obviously there's not one imminent or the upcoming CC agenda wouldn't be "to provide overview of the regulatory path forward." That sounds like P4 even though the FDA seemed OK with a patient population of 390 at the start.
I fear Monday will be another inconclusive "hurry up and wait" plan going forward with "we're one big step closer to fruition." This makes no sense in a pandemic when crap like Remdeathisnear and HCQ can get rammed through at blinding speed. Except when considering the corruption of the FDA, US gov't and BP playing a factor. Our approval will come after Dr. Kervorkian's gypsy caravan selling magic brain tumor, lumbago and covid elixir gets their shot first.
