I don't have problem with vaccines. As mentioned previously, I have never taken the flu vaccine and have never had the flu, ever. Maybe I'm just lucky. As for your statement/question:
"I'll ask again. Who thinks more people are going to die from getting the vaccine than those who are going to die from not getting the vaccine? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?"
I am in agreement with you that more will die from the virus than the vaccine. With that said, I live in the state of New Hampshire with very, very good daily numbers so my opinion may be skewed. I don't have a problem taking a MAB that has shown safety for years whereas the current vaccines have been pushed out in much less than a year and we have no long term data available to look at to this point. Maybe I can be corrected, but I have read somewhere that the average length of time to create a safe and thoroughly tested vaccine is somewhere in the neighborhood of 8 years.
We all want to have as many tools available to use in our toolbox as possible but not all tools will are needed/used.
As for my wife, I will not tell her to get a vaccine as I do not want to get my A$$ kicked
