When Krishna Kowlgi came over from Holland he went
Post# of 22457
I see on Linkedin he transitioned to QMC in Feb 2020 which is interesting because his expertise is quantum dot manufacturing - as his accomplishments below show - and QMC was just beginning the pivot to QDX Healthid DLT - "software".
We don't know the circumstances for the move, but QMC must have anticipated needing more and better "QD reactors" in the near future.
From Kowlgi's Linkedin impressive work experience-
Collaborated with Quantum Materials Corp. and:
1. Developed the easiest (≤ 3 steps), fastest (residence time in seconds) and most economical process to manufacture cadmium- and cadmium-free quantum dots.
2. Found a novel extraction technique for quantum dots that maintains their optical properties for integration in various matrices (polymers, solvents).
3. Integrated quantum dots in electronic devices such as LCD TV, LED and nanocomposites.
4. Improved throughput (x10), MTBF (months) by upgrading flow reactors and implementing automation using computer control.
5. Enhanced product properties and costs using materials design, rapid parametric analysis, mole balance analysis and by engaging reliable vendors.
6. Designed flow reactors for highly-efficient extraction of magnetic nanoparticles from solution
7. Streamlined quality control, waste, inventory- and safety-management.
