The market is gamed by those with the resources. This is a fact no matter how much those in control want to convince everyone otherwise. There is very little integrity in the stock market and the 'secret' of the corruption being more exposed than ever (with what happened with GME ) with no consequences have resulted in less obfuscation; the manipulation is more blatant than ever and more frequent. So yea, a mystery but not really.
