Funny you just put something out there and sure enough, people bite and run with it
Companies don't respond to every concern that pops in someone's head
Most companies don't put out a PR either when someone leaves unless it's the CEO, CFO, etc.
I remember "some" freaking out when Brycen left Summer
Then again with Tal left.
People join a company for different reasons
People leave a company for different reasons
As much as one thinks they deserve an explanation when someone leaves, not only would it be in bad taste, it's not a good practice to do.
CEO and CFO absolutely, the rest, no.
Heck, I've been at companies where the employees aren't told when someone leaves.
"Hey, where's ____?"
"I think they're gone..."

People come, people go, but some demand answers to speculation
Maybe she was on a contract and it was up?
Maybe she found a better job?
Maybe it didn't work out at Verb?
Maybe she still works there?
Maybe she only worked there 14 weeks instead of 5 months?
So many possibilities
