"But, we do have to keep in mind that he has a history of throwing out timeframes that were inaccurate."
As my dear old "pappy" used to say. "It takes twice as long and three times as much money, or three times as long and twice as much money."
Yes, NP is an optimist on timing. Maybe it's what he has been told by others and maybe he's just overly optimistic to a fault, but I don't find it unusual. I am point for a supplier to the US military. Timelines are written on a whiteboard with plenty of erasers handy.
Under the circumstances of the pandemic I don't know how we can hold the FDA/CYDY to any projected timeline. CYDY is walking on new ground and they have a story of a unique technology that just might be difficult for the FDA to believe, or understand, thus measuring twice and sawing once. I don't think it is common for pre-rev OTC to come up with world saving solutions.
I reinforce the statement that it will take whatever time it takes. I think the issues under these circumstances are legion, particularly manufacturing, national and international distribution of current inventory, money, severe or critical patients for limited inventory, and the list goes on. I also assume the data was good enough that we have the attention of the parties that matter.
The above said does not mean I don't think nefarious influences are not possible. Just not likely at this point. Too risky IMO.
