Why 28 days? Most COVID-19 studies define a 28 day observation window. Is the reason as simple as; the novel coronavirus causing COVID-19 has been determined to have a 28 survival rate? (That is to say a virus without access to replication-host will be non-viable after 28 days.)
28 days repeats so frequently in the literature, and not just in protocol definitions. So common in fact it gained street cred as the title to a classic sci-fi feature film.
So, why 28 days?
