Also, if you hold a naked short position in a company and you bankrupt the company, you're not required to pay that short position back.
Who knows how much of an institutional naked short position is still being held in this company, being juggled between MM's for possibly years.
I can't say whether those positions are still being held or for how much, but why has the basher activity been stepped up to the level they are at now ?
That would tell me that there may possibly still be a substantial naked short position being held.
