Cassandra X, I completely agree with what your saying, and I can't even imagine having to deal with what your dealing with.
It seems the Medical community puts a label for an indication so as to be on the same page, but as stated at the end of the article there could also be some connection to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and/or Fibromyalgia which still remain a mystery. So a label seems to be more of a category not a definitive reason for what hurts. I understand that also as the word Longhauler can mean so many things as PASC may also.
I also find it interesting that NIH plans on doing a study, which to me means they are not recognizing the trail by CYDY. What a shame! Call it what they may, I think we have a molecule that can take care of this.
When it comes to cookies, I'm still running trials to find which is my favorite( it's a lifetime study) but my favorite bumper sticker read " Come to the Darkside..... We've got cookies!"
