Imagine someone invented the bulletproof vest at the beginning of WW2 and the US govt said “Hold on a minute, we need to rigorously test these vests to see if they’re safe and they work.”
Then, in March 1945... “Wow, these vests are amazing. Let’s get them out to all the troops and save some lives!”
That’s what it feels like right now only it’s still February 1945.
