Not sure that study really makes your point. It includes hospitalized patients, but among the more severe the numbers are not so good:
The "usual care" group of patients receiving invasive mechanical ventilation died at a rate of 41.4%; and those who received oxygen without invasive mechanical ventilation died at a rate of 26.2%. It's my guess that probably an apples to apples comparison with people as sick as the ones in CD12 would show a death rate of higher than 30 %.
