"Discussing the path forward" is about as nebulous as one can get. A last place team with no hopes of making the playoffs still has a plan for a path forward for the team. True, as you said, one would think it means they have some idea of something upon which to base such plans forward, but knowing NP, he may have based it on his poop eating grin that now looks like more of a scowl.

The "path forward" could include leronlimab finally being used against covid, OR they could determine that the best path forward is to move straight to HIV as leronlimab just wasn't proven as effective as the FDA wanted it to be. Only time will tell. The Philippines sure did seem to disappear fast...they already promised them 200,000 doses if they wanted it, and no one seems to be jumping for that.
