But, upon approval, actually, shortly before approval, we may have a company requested trading halt. When the trading resumes a day or two or three later, after EUA approval, Nader may have a big grin on his face holding up three of his fingers.
In all seriousness, it is very possible that on the day that the EUA is announced, CytoDyn may call a trading halt to the stock. There is precedent for an OTC company to call a trading halt for unusual trading behavior before a market moving announcement.
If that happens, shorts will be decimated even before the trading resumes. Maybe even margin calls while you can't even cover.
But, for now, it's all about the medication and getting it to sick people.
