I haven’t sold a share. I won’t sell a share.

Hence the reason to negotiate. What would we negotiate? There are a few things we should negotiate. If I am Cytodyn I would negotiate after seeing what kind of help the FDA is offering. Fast tracked production facilities other than what we have already? Help with down payments on manufacturing? Help with a great PR so the Doctors in our country and the world know what all should know. For these items to help progress our manufacturing. We negotiate in good faith what the FDA seeks in volume and price commitments.
Does anyone see it any different? What else is there to negotiate. EUA is a given what we already know and the FDA also knows this. Otherwise we wouldn’t be in negotiations at all. So we either negotiate a deal with the FDA or we move on to other markets and the FDA knows this since we let out a PR today to inform them yet again that they are not the only game in town and we will sell our inventory to whomever negotiates the best deal or offers the most help. Fact is we will probably have the Philippines buying their 100,000 promised doses first before any other deals and that will fund some manufacturing. The Philippines just wanted the mortality and that only took minutes to do that math. If I am Nader I am leaning back in the biggest chair in the room and chewing on a cigar flicking a lighter with the threat of lighting it at any moment but not lighting it because he knows deep down he is holding the best hand possible and his cell phone won’t stop ringing and he keeps the attention of the FDA by saying “ damn... that is the MHRA again” then the next ring damn that’s Health Canada yet again. Then smugly asking ... so what are you thinking? How can you help us?
So when you look at the big picture in a negotiation way. The FDA doesn’t hold the best hand and they know it. Hence asking for confidential negotiations to keep Janet Woodcock in the running for full time FDA commissioner. As for confidential negotiations... you know this isn’t something that Nader would of suggested. He would be crowing from the tallest building in Vancouver Washington. Telling the world what we have.
This is my opinion on how the day has progressed. I hope it’s somewhere close to what I have said. I may be way off but one thing I do know is the science supports what we all know. That the efficacy of the trial is probably even better that what everyone thought except me. Ask your self why is there secrecy at all if the FDA isn’t worried they can’t strike a deal? Every vaccine company has announced preliminary results in the past. Even before making a deal. Every other therapeutic has fallen with no results in Severe to Critical and announced even before all data was announced and most even after getting to a mid trial analysis.
What we know is we are ready and everyone wants a piece of our pie... there will be no cake served here...
