Assuming your question isn’t rhetorical and at risk of claiming a working brain: We all have different investment approaches (risk tolerance, timing, etc) and I don’t begrudge anyone for actively managing their portfolio relative to their investment (life) needs. My situation isn’t the same as theirs, I need to think for myself - as the Oracle from Omaha says, “be fearful when others are greedy and greedy when others are fearful”
