I am afraid I am not following your line-of-thought.
If you are referring to HEGN trial their primary is:
Ventilator-free Survival [ Time Frame: Up to Day 28 ]
My intended inference is the SOC survival rates which is what we don't know, as we do for the total survival rates and therefore could calculate VX portion (and p-values).
I am just sharing my indirect calculations of possible "what to expect" SOC survivals with data from other trials believing this is valuable for decision-making purposes.
Which deaths seemed low at 50% interim ???
