I am sorry, MMPJOE, but the transcript of the CC s
Post# of 36537
As stated in my previous posts, I would've never complained the way I did (in these posts), if you would've told us that timeline at the end of that CC, instead of what you said. All I want is a reliable information about when I can expect the next update on the vaccine development. So if you would have told us, that YOU are expecting to receive the results from the lab within 7-10 days, and that a sequence of events need to follow which will take another estimated x days or weeks, before you'd be able to update us all, then at least I would know what to expect upfront. And for sure I wouldn't have participated in the discussion of the last 24h on here, and I am certain it wouldn't have happened at all. I don't think anybody would complain about another couple of days of delay. I am a project manager myself, and I know that there are always endless possibilities for things to go wrong, especially in the last days before an important milestone date.
However, what I really do find disturbing is the way you appear to deal with criticism. Instead of carefully reading those posts, try to better understand our needs, maybe even apologize for your miscommunication and at least have an open discussion with us on here, you come on here and immediately attack us and call us all nuts. And that obviously after misunderstanding the underlying message that those complaints carry.
Nobody in their right mind would ask you to put pressure on FDA or SEC officials trying to get something done faster, just so our "lottery ticket" provides the big win faster. At least I don't complain about another delay of another few more days. BUT what I DO complain about is when someone communicates to me that I will receive a significant update, the kind of info that decides whether my "lottery ticket" is a winner or not, and then I am called stupid or nuts to assume to receive it within the given time frame. You hit on all of us for being upset to learn that we must have misunderstood something, because there are several steps missing, which to me it sounds will take another couple of weeks, before they can finally be made public. There are always at least two involved in a failed communication, and I am not an expert in developing vaccines, and - as an investor - I don't need to be, so I would consider it your job to inform me in the same way about the current status of the development, as I do, when I update the company heads about the status of my projects, which is called an executive summary. What upsets me is being dealt with salami tactics, or treated like a the proverbial donkey that is held a carrot dangling in front of its nose far enough away such that I will not be able to ever reach it, but still keeps me going.
So let me close this post with a request. Can we please get back to an equal and open communication where we, your shareholders, are being informed and provided with facts as described above and not being attacked and called stupid or nuts? But instead receive reliable information which are very clearly stated such that there is no room left for interpretation? Thank you!
And BTW, so far I have always refrained from calling you directly, because I considered it Todd's job to answer my shareholder questions. I have had several telephone calls and email exchanges with him in the past. My last email, about 2h after the CC, which I addressed to you as well, was only partially answered by you, which I took as a sign that you are too busy to fully read and reply to, which was OK for me at the time, but also left me with the implicit message "leave me alone", which is also why I never called you directly.
Have a great Sunday and to the exciting times that are ahead of us. Thank you for your generally great work that got us all to this point where sit in the edge of our seats desperately waiting for the next news or PR to be published.
