Yesterday Dr. Patterson claimed that he had just received a call from Dr. Norman Gaylis.
Patterson said that Dr. Gaylis "would be using our tools in a big long hauler trial in Florida" or something similar.
Patterson/Yo believe that the Patterson diagnostic panel is fully paid for by standard health insurance, cpt codes and everything.
If fully reimbursed by insurance, then no reason for any treating physician in the Cytodyn long hauler trial not to use it.
Unless of course Cytodyn is paying for 100% of the costs of medical care for the long hauler trial.
Patterson panel is pretty cheap. Maybe Cytodyn will pay for it?
Maybe Cytodyn is somewhat short of cash and is only paying for part of the long hauler trial expenses, which would leave treating physicians free to employ other insurance-reimbursed testing if they desire?
Maybe Patterson is just throwing shade at Cytodyn, I doubt it.
Patterson and Yo talk about leronlimab as if it has already been approved. They are using maraviroc now but its clear that they would employ LL if available.
