What it means is you'll likely have LESS SEVERE outcome if infected. Thats it. Correct..THAT IS IT. If it is LESS SEVERE, and effectively takes death off the table as it is doing now, then you can proceed with your daily life and the same risks that were out there 16 months ago, or you can crawl in a hole and fear life
Being vaccinated and not doing all the above means you will just be getting whatever variant becomes resistant to this crop of vaccines, and helping it to spread to others who have also vaccinated and believe they're safe. and a 5% chance of passing to someone else who would also have less severe infections
