I first heard Rush while I was on a business trip

I first heard Rush while I was on a business trip to Raleigh NC in 1990 and became a fan immediately. I just happened upon the station that was playing his program. I thoroughly enjoyed what he was saying and I was also very surprised that after ten or fifteen minutes he kept on talking. At the time, I had no idea that anyone with views like mine would ever be allowed to speak on the public airways for more than 10 to 15 minutes at a time. He was a great spokesman for at least 74 million of us and he will be missed.
