The technology and unit are being developed by technology from PowerTap Hydrogen Fueling Corp., an investee company of Clean Power. According to the announcement, the system performance of PowerTap’s third-generation onsite hydrogen production module unit is controlled by advanced operating software with data analytics. Data that is collected through the software is sent through the cloud. Subsequently a data analytics application evaluates the information then deploys advance algorithms to determine critical point indicators to monitor performance characteristics; those indicators include system run, fuel dispensing rate and storage efficiency.
